Automatic Equipment has expanded its line of high capacity roller mills with the highest cpacity portable roller mill available to the agricultural market. The ATG5000 utilizes a set of 14-inch diameter rolls, 54-inches long, hardened to 56 Rockwell C and are machined to the same prcision as all Automatic rolls.

The new 5000 mill is available with 4, 6.5, 8 and 10 cut rolls. The mill is fed with a 14-inch diameter intake auger and it is double flighted at the intake for maximum capacity. A hydraulically powered spreader forces grain through the full-length magnet grate, evenly feeding it across the length of the rolls regardless of the moisture content.

Grain drops from the rolls onto a horizontal conveyor. It is then carried out the rear of the mill and deposited on the discharge conveyor. The discharge conveyor can pile grain 9 fee vertically and throw it 25 feet horizontally.

The mill is driven by a 1000 RPM PTO with shear bolt protection. Roll drive and differential is accomplished through a heavy-duty cog belt. The ATG5000C includes a self-contained hydraulic system which powers all intake and discharge components.
